Privacy Policy

We collect minimal information to operate and improve SambhavAI.in:

Usage Data: When you use our tools, we temporarily process your inputs (text prompts, uploaded images, audio files) to generate outputs. This data is not stored on our servers beyond the duration of your session.

Account Data (optional): If you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not collect payment information directly — payments are handled by Stripe.

Analytics: We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g. which tools are most popular, page load times). No personally identifiable information is included in analytics.

Cookies: We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We use the information we collect to:

- Provide, operate, and improve our AI tools
- Process transactions and send billing-related communications
- Send product updates and announcements (you can opt out at any time)
- Respond to support requests and enquiries
- Monitor for abuse and enforce our Terms of Use
- Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

When you use our AI tools, your input content (text, images, audio) is sent to our AI providers (OpenAI, etc.) for processing. Please review their privacy policies as well.

We do not train AI models on your content. Your inputs are used solely to generate your requested output and are not retained or used for model training.

Generated outputs belong to you. We claim no ownership over any content you produce using our tools.

We take security seriously:

- All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a cost factor of 12
- We conduct regular security audits
- Access to production systems is restricted and logged
- Session inputs are purged from memory within 60 seconds of generation

We store account data on servers located in the European Union (AWS eu-west-1). Analytics data is stored in India.

- Session data (your prompts and generated outputs): Deleted immediately after your session ends or within 60 seconds of generation, whichever comes first.
- Account data: Retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
- Usage logs (anonymised): Retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse monitoring.
- Billing records: Retained for 7 years as required by tax law.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request that inaccurate data be corrected
- Deletion: Request that your data be deleted ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection: Object to processing of your data for marketing purposes
- Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

We use the following third-party services which may process your data:

- OpenAI — AI model inference for text, image, and audio generation
- Supabase — Database and authentication
- Stripe — Payment processing (Pro/Team plans)
- Vercel — Hosting and edge functions
- Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection

Each of these services has their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

SambhavAI.in is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify registered users by email and display a notice on the website for at least 30 days. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
